First Annual Lunch/Dinner

We expect to have our first annual lunch or dinner at India House Restaurant in Schaumburg sometime in August of 2004. We hope to have as many Indian Chiropractic Physicians as possible represented at this event to make it successful. We would also like to invite other Physicians of Indian decent, as our guests, to increase their awareness of Chiropractic.

Anodyne Lecture - 3 CME:

A seminar regarding Anodyne therapy (The Therapeutic Utility of Monochromatic Near-Infrared Energy (MIRE) Technology)1234 has been set up on May 27, 2004 at Vision MRI in Oakbrook from 6 - 9 pm. The seminar will be $30 for members of IAICP and $50 for non-members. We want a great turnout for this seminar, so please sign up and get others to sign up as well. Flyers have been made – please take some and pass them around. We would like each doctor to take a territory and fax out flyers if they can. This lecture is a fundraiser for us, so the more we have in attendance the better. This seminar is open to DC's, PT's and Podiatrist.

Sikh Religious Society Health Fair:

We have organized a health fair on Sunday June 6 th in Palatine. This health fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a health fair organized by IAICP and their will only be Chiropractic Physicians at the event. We would like to offer spinal screenings, blood pressure check ups, blood glucose monitoring, chair massages, body fat/BMI. Sign-up sheets will be going around – please sign up to donate your time. We would like to get at least 10 doctors at this event.

Punjabi Cultural Society Annual Sports Festival:

The tentative date for this event is August 8 -9, 2004. This is an annual event that happens at the fields of Palatine Community Park. Kabaddi, Volleyball, Soccer, Shot-put, Races and much more will be played at this event. This event usually has various elected US officials in attendance and up to 1000 people coming and going throughout the day. We would like to provide injury relief (taping/icing, etc), and stretching for those athletes that are interested. Also, do blood pressure check-ups, blood glucose checks, and spinal screenings as well. We will need to purchase or have donated the following items: ice-packs, taping supplies, ice-sprays, biofreeze samples, alcohol swabs, band-aids and any other items we will need.

First Annual IAICP Luncheon:

The date has been set for August 14 th , 2004 from 12:30 - 3:30 at India House Restaurant in Schaumburg. The cost will be $30 per person. Formal invitations will be going out in July. We need sponsors and speakers for this event. We will be inviting doctors of other specialties to be our guests at this event. We will also be doing a 50/50 raffle at the event.
